This is a WIRED shower, and will require wiring into your mains power by an Electrician. 
If you want a plug-in one, you need the Micro-E (which is capped at 3kw cos it goes through a plug). But if you want more power, this is the shower for you.
The average household/bathroom electric shower is about 7-9kw, so this is similar to that. It still isn't as powerful as our gas Hippos (which are 16kw to anyone that is interested in kw). But it is more than twice as powerful as the little Micro-E ones.
